Have you had the Baby Talk?

Happy monday everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. Todays topic Babies…. For the past couple of weeks theres been lots of baby talk in the air. Not me, but 2 of my close friends announced me they were pregnant. How exciting!!! I know my eldest sister is thinking of kids as well… and it made me wonder. Have you had the baby talk???

We have been talking about having kids from the moment we started dating. If I recall it was one of the first questions I ask Marc Marriage has always been something which was important for me. Not necessarily for religious reasons and so I always imagine having kids 1 year after our wedding… and my one year anniversary is in June (with no baby in sight) So my question is this.

When are you planning on having kids?

I love Style #309, though would love to see it in black with ivory and blue. the color scheme of my wedding is Ivory, Black with Steel Blue. This combination is working so well with everything I can’t believe I get to use all the colors I love. Since this is a long over due second wedding for us we will not be throwing the garter but keeping it special occassions and this would be great to win.

New site in the works…

Hello my fellow readers… hope your having a great weekend. Talking about the weekend your probably wondering why I’m posting today, well… I wanted to give you some news. I’ve mentioned before that I wanted to do a redesign for the blog… and obviously nothing has changed on the site. Well its never to late is it? Glamour this! will have a MAJOR makeover and when I mean major – that includes that it will be moving to a better home too.

I finally decided to launch my own company called BLUSH!NK and am working on my new website. Don’t worry Glamour This! will stay but  its simply going to become the official blog of BLUSH!NK (with a different URL)

Now your probably wondering what BLUSH!NK consists of. All you need to remember are 3 little words: Inspiration, Style and Design. Since I am first and foremost a graphic designer, I will combine my skills to offer you several services:

• Inspiration: Blog portion ; daily inspiration from weddings, fashion  & design +++
• Style : Fashion portion ; Jewelry and accessory design +++
• Design : Design portion ; Logo/Identity design, Invitation design + + +

So there you have it… I will keep you posted on the development and ask for your feedback along the way. Starting off with your suggestions. What would like to see on the new blog/site?

Flower Décor Envy

If there is one thing for sure, I love love love flowers. Seriously, I think I was a florist in a previous life and its surfacing again. I would love to take floral classes and I am seriously thinking about it. You know what? if I could choose my teacher, any teacher – Janie Medley would be it. Whoot Whoot! Mrs. Thang.. you know I love you – you rock! Now, you all know Janie’s work and her very popular blog (and recently revamped) : The Bride’s Cafe.

I meant to post this for a while now and haven’t had the time to get to it…. but thats no excuse I know – especially when its about a good friend of mine. Anyways…  her work has been featured in the latest edition of Bride & Bloom and seriously this is a major case of floral & decor envy. See for yourself you’ll know what I mean.

Isn’t that bouquet to die for? Come on its so romantic and the fluffiness is the best part  – I find. This arragement includes some of my favorite blooms: Peonies, Anemones and Ranunculus…. plus that handle in the tiffany blue – so pretty.

Janie is more than talented – shes the sweetest person I know… and if you are looking for a florist and you are in her area – what are you waiting for – hire her already. Also, I would like to give a shout out to Maria Cooke of Ritzy Bee Events. Her table decor is simply stunning and more than magazine worthy – Rock on girls!!! Rock on!!!

Glamoured Up Elizabeth Anne Designs
