Dressing up the tush

Undergarments can be as important as the wedding attire. Well, it all depends what you are planning on doing afterwards ;) There are really cute kits available in all shapes, sizes and styles. Personally, I’m liking the whole vintage/ruffle feel.

These beautiful ensembles are so pretty they would actually deserved to be worn as it… that’s right no clothes to hide their beauty. Nuits de Satin has beautiful pieces for all tastes.

If you prefer having only panties nothing says vintage sexy than ruffles. Here are some beautiful ruffle inspired undergarments. Now, they aren’t for every day use… but for a special event.. why not?

I also think black satin underwear are so sexy. Almost dominatrix ;) Whats your idea of sexy undergarments? Are you a fan of ruffles?

Hairstyles for a princess

Your wedding hairstyle can be the finish touch to your wedding attire. Whether or not you are opting for a veil or not, you have to treat your hairstyle as if you would your wedding dress… with lots of consideration. Low style buns are very popular, because they can be very glamorous and at the same time not too overpowering.

{Good Thing} Customized labels

If you want to add a special touch to your accessories or even your bridesmaids/Best mans accessories, customized labels, or monograms can make these ordinary items so much more meaningful. Monogramming even though its simply beautiful… it can be costly, so why not opt for customized labels.

Good thing courtesy of Marthastewart.com

To turn wedding-day accessories into lovely keepsakes for your bridal party, why not add customized labels bearing your wedding date, monogram, or some other personal note? Start by creating a template at a specialty manufacturer (we tapped Name Maker) using the fonts, colors, and sizes of your choice. Hand-stitch the labels to the backs or insides of ties, purses, or other fabric items you plan to give your bridesmaids and groomsmen, and they’ll have a message fashioned just for them.

Tie collar for your pooch

If you are letting your dog take part of your wonderful day, why not let him bring the rings. Though I wish I could have my cats take part, I don’t think its a really good idea. :) If you’re having your pooch walk down the aisle I would strongly suggest though, to have a secure way of keeping the rings. Luckily with this unique Wedding Tie collar, it’s possible.

The tie has been re-purposed and reinvented! The “bones” of this collar consist of the same materials in my other collars (extra strength nylon webbing with superior long-wearing metal hardware). Every seam is triple stitched & the collar is treated with a heavy duty stain resistant protectant (since dogs will be dogs!).

I really think this is a great way to have a unified bridal party… hey the doggie is part of it too. Brice designs also accepts custom orders, so don’t wait check out etsy site!

Feathers please…

I’m happy to announce the launch of Head Dress Designs new website. It is simply stunning and the pictures taken by the renown Brook Pifer are out of this world! Talk about lots and lots of eye candy. I heart feathers and I have blogged about Heather and Head dress before… take a look at their collection… what a piece of art!

The new bridal collection is true to their style, unique, fresh and filled with feathers. They are so pretty that it makes me sad because I’ve purchased my veil already. These designs would definitely be in my top choices.

This collection is called Dress-Up. Basically it is an extended collection of party and special occasion hair accessories that the designers felt the need to design from many client requests wanting the fun, flirty, vibrant headpieces to wear to such special occasions.

Thumbs up to you Heather and Katie… your work is fabulous!

Papier Couture

I heart anything paper, thats because I am a designer… nonetheless, I can’t get more excited when I find something interesting and I absouletly need to share with everyone.

When I was a little girl, I honestly would love creating paper dresses with my younger sister. It was a fun passtime and it something I always loved. As time passed, obviously less of that was happening… even though at times I wish I could. So when ever I go to bridal parties, I’m the first in line when the toilet paper dress competition presents itself. (And I always win) So when I happen to come accross the Papier Couture website… I couldn’t feel other than a little envy.

These dresses are stunning… and I would honestly wear them. Where can I get one??? ;) It would be so awesome to get married in one of those… but just got to make sure that it doesnt rain. These dresses have a whole new twist on the eco-friendly wedding.

These creations are the baby of Lia Griffith, graphic designer and art director… Papier Couture is a beautiful fusion of fashion and art. Using a mixture of papers, patterns and typography, these dresses are any paper’s dream. Or mine ;) They are simply stunning… the craftmanship is over the top.

Am I the only one nuts about paper? What passtimes did you have when you were younger (paper related - if that makes any sense what so ever)

Thanks to Housemartin for the link!

Busy Busy Busy!

I wanted to apologize for my lack of posting these past few days. Things have been really hectic and I can’t seem to do everything at once. (If only I could, life would be so much easier) For the past couple of weeks I’ve been preparing for a jewelry exposition in my area… and let me tell you that my fingers are numb- after 100 necklaces ;) This is really exciting since it is our first Kai Creations event… but at the same time its alot of work. Here are a couple of pictures of my jewelry… for those interested.

I really hope the outcome will be great. This will give us some great exposure. (To think we only started last july) I will post pictures after the weekend is over. Until then… I am thinking about my next couple of posts. I will be back with a bang! Well I hope so. ;)
