One thing I don’t do enough is blog about dresses. I don’t know why that is, especially since it is one of my favourite things about weddings. Theres nothing more beautiful than a bride on her wedding day…
Now I’m starting off with an over the top designer, and I say that in a very very positive way. If you are searching for ideas and inspiration for wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses Max Chaoul Couture is the place to go for amazing eye candy. Check out some of their wedding attire:

Rock n’ love Couture is the soirée dress collection. From glitz to feather and bright colors in the mix, these dresses are simply stunning… and not to mention they scream “Oui Paris” and we all love having a little Paris in the mix. These dresses are a combination of glamour and vintage (my fave)

I got THE call last week… my dress is clean and ready to be stored. So it hit me more that I thought it would. I realized that this was it - that I would probably never wear my dress again, and it really made me sad. If there is one thing in our whole wedding that I absolutely loved and would do again, my dress would be it. But at the same time, what’s the point of keeping a gorgeous dress in the closet when someone else could wear it?

I’ve had people asking me if I’m going to sell our wedding items, and honestly I was never able to give a response (sorry about that!). I don’t know if it’s because I don’t want to face the fact that the wedding is over, or if I just want to hold on to the memories as long as I can. I have many wedding items piled up in my office and room, and selling some would be a good way to move on. I would love to have our future daughter wear my wedding dress. But then I think about it… I never wore my mom’s dress or veil or anything she had at her wedding, so would my daughter wear mine? Most likely not.
I have many items that I could possibly sell (because I would most likely never wear or use them again), like my wedding dress, birdcage veil, table runners and silk clutch.
Have you decided to sell your wedding dress and/or other wedding items? And for those of you who have… how did you make the step and do you regret it???
I really don’t know what Im going to do.

Thank you everyone for the compliments on my wedding day look. Actually I felt like a million bucks and the thing I loved the most was my hair. If I could wear my hair like that everyday, I would. How I wish I was back in the 30s or 40s they had actual combs to create finger waves.
Since you haven’t really seen my hairstyle in the fullest, here are some other pics of my do.

The day before the wedding, I went to get my hair washed and get my curls started. It took a long time, because finger curls are a unique request nowadays. Plus, I was lucky, I got to sleep will all kinds of hair pins (like the huge black ones) to make sure everything stayed in place for the morning after.

Here I am the morning of…I look like I didn’t sleep a lot, which is true indeed.

Don’t even ask me what I’m doing here, seems like quite an awkward pose.
I guess my friends were trying to catch EVERY angle.

Everybody loved my hair, with the exception of my mom. Let’s just say my mom felt she needed to tell everyone in my family that she disliked my hair so when it came time for the receiving line, I was greeted with, “Congratulations, and I love your hair by the way, don’t listen to your Mom…you look gorgeous and your hair matches your vintage theme!”
I was a bit shocked about the whole thing, I mean, why would my mom do that? I have no clue, but I let it slide. I loved my hair and that’s what counts right?

For those of you who have followed my wedding on weddingbee I apologize for the re-posting. But since many of my readers voiced that they would love to see my wedding pics… I can’t say no to that…can I?
I love detail shots and since I worked hard DIYing some elements of my wedding attire, I wanted to make sure I had pictures to remember forever all the hard work and crazy hours I spent. I absolutely adore these pictures of my wedding dress – it’s simply stunning. How I wish I could wear it all day long. Seriously…
My beautiful wedding dress
Detailing of the bodice
I loved all my bling. It was very glamorous and representative of our overall theme. I literally felt like a million dollars wearing my jewelry.
My oh-so glamorous necklace
Our beautiful rings
DIY Swarovski Brooch which I absolutely love
My awesome taupe shoes with my vintage embellishment
My beautiful bouquet with DIY bouquet jewels
These details were for my husband-to-be and his first love – Superman. I wanted to have something extra special for him and my DIY Superman Garter definitely caught everyone’s attention. His cufflinks were perfect and cute, I must admit.

I’m a real fan of stilettos. I have some in pink, turquoise, taupe, brown, black and the list goes on. We all know that stilettos are the shoe choice for weddings. Not only are they elegant but simply beautiful especially in bright shades. Now with that being said, they aren’t very ground friendly… you know, they sink into grass, get stuck in cracks and get ruin by pebbles. Well that’s all history with the SoleMates High Heeler™.

These flexible designs grips attaches to majority of skinny heals. They then increase the heel area which prevents you from getting stuck in whatever you can possibly get stuck in. Its mentioned on their site that the SoleMates High Heeler™ “grips securely without damaging the heel or compromising the aesthetics of the shoe.” I think this is an excellent idea.
So you put them on when taking outdoor pictures or if you have an outdoor wedding, then you take them off to party indoors. I’m really liking this idea… maybe I should buy a case

Undergarments can be as important as the wedding attire. Well, it all depends what you are planning on doing afterwards
There are really cute kits available in all shapes, sizes and styles. Personally, I’m liking the whole vintage/ruffle feel.
These beautiful ensembles are so pretty they would actually deserved to be worn as it… that’s right no clothes to hide their beauty. Nuits de Satin has beautiful pieces for all tastes.
If you prefer having only panties nothing says vintage sexy than ruffles. Here are some beautiful ruffle inspired undergarments. Now, they aren’t for every day use… but for a special event.. why not?
I also think black satin underwear are so sexy. Almost dominatrix

Whats your idea of sexy undergarments?
Are you a fan of ruffles?
