Blushink Design – Unveiled Weddings
A couple of months ago, I received an email from the sweet Kirsty Young. She emailed me asking me whether I’d be interested in designing the brand to her new wedding related company called Unveiled. I was honored she considered me to do the design, and of course I accepted.
Kirsty’s company is located in New Zealand and focuses on wedding event design services. She wanted something with a fresh approach to wedding design/creative service. “Simple, clean, understated and effective” is how she considered herself.

She absolutely loved it and I was pleased. I wanted to add a little touch to the design, and asked her to add a tag-line… something that represented her company. She replied “From Imagination to Celebration” which was PERFECT!!! I really hope you will enjoy your new stationery/logo and wish you all the best Kirsty in the wedding biz!
If you are looking for a design/makeover, feel free to fill out a free quote request.

Flower Décor Envy
If there is one thing for sure, I love love love flowers. Seriously, I think I was a florist in a previous life and its surfacing again. I would love to take floral classes and I am seriously thinking about it. You know what? if I could choose my teacher, any teacher – Janie Medley would be it. Whoot Whoot! Mrs. Thang.. you know I love you – you rock! Now, you all know Janie’s work and her very popular blog (and recently revamped) : The Bride’s Cafe.

I meant to post this for a while now and haven’t had the time to get to it…. but thats no excuse I know – especially when its about a good friend of mine. Anyways… her work has been featured in the latest edition of Bride & Bloom and seriously this is a major case of floral & decor envy. See for yourself you’ll know what I mean.

Isn’t that bouquet to die for? Come on its so romantic and the fluffiness is the best part – I find. This arragement includes some of my favorite blooms: Peonies, Anemones and Ranunculus…. plus that handle in the tiffany blue – so pretty.
Janie is more than talented – shes the sweetest person I know… and if you are looking for a florist and you are in her area – what are you waiting for – hire her already. Also, I would like to give a shout out to Maria Cooke of Ritzy Bee Events. Her table decor is simply stunning and more than magazine worthy – Rock on girls!!! Rock on!!!

Bridescope – Astrology for the Bride
If you are like me, even though at times it may seem surreal, astrology is fun to read and to associate it with my everyday issues, goals, ideas and so forth. That’s why, when I saw Brides.com Bridescope, I had to read what they had to say. I think its a fun way to lighten up the wedding planning, and you always find some truth in horoscopes, right?

They even offer a profile on what type of bride-to-be you are (based on your horoscope), plus endless wedding planning ideas catered to your style. From reception ideas, attire, to invitations and cake designs, the Bridescope wedding planning will give you the help you need.

If you want to lighten things up again or are just curious to know… Check out your Bridescope and see what’s in store for you. Lets just say that my cosmic wedding planner is right on!!! I’m all of that plus more… I still don’t get how they do that…. but then again, I’m no astrology pro.

Google Docs – Wedding approved!
Since last weeks giveaway was all about organizing, I thought I would share some of my own tips. Like many of yous I heart google. I have a gmail account and I use the Google Reader to stay updated on all my favorite blogs. Now my love for Google doesn’t stop there, apart from Google Docs and Google Calendar, they recently launched the Wedding Planner. Yes, yes you read it right…. Google Docs made specifically for wedding planning. Isn’t that the cherry on the sundae?
Here are 5 applications designed by the people from Google. I personally have not tried these applications, but if they are anything like the Docs, Calendars and Gmail… you will love it hands down. So go ahead and plunge yourself in the google world.
- Event/Wedding Guest List
This spreadsheet and form template gathers RSVP information for an event. It can be used for any event where you would like to acquire information about your guests. By simply emailing out the form to your guests, everyone can input their information into your spreadsheet. There are a number of fields in the spreadsheet that can be removed based on the type of event and the amount of information you would like to collect.
- Wedding Planner
This wedding planner helps couples organize and plan their wedding. It starts out with a budget page to summarize totals for big ticket wedding items, followed by many different sheets to track essentials like the guestlist, cake, favors, etc. The very last sheet gives a sample wedding day schedule. Share this with your fiance and family to coordinate and plan your big day!
- Wedding Album
Big swirls and floral motifs offer a softness to this wedding album. The options are ornate but not overly done. This provides a beautiful universal theme to showcase your wedding photos.
- Wedding Vendor Payment List
This spreadsheet will help you track your wedding expenses. Use it to record wedding vendors, deposits, and balances due.
- Wedding Budget Manager
Use this Wedding Budget Manager to ensure you are spending within your allocated wedding budget. The percentage field shows where the majority of your budget is being spent.
Google, you have no idea how I heart thee… though I’m married now (so weird to say that) I hope that many brides-to-be get with the google program. Have you used any of these new apps? If so, whats your review on them?
