I’m an apple lover, not actual apples… silly, the computers.
And every time they come out with a new product I seem to drool all over my screen. Now, Im drooling over these…. the ah-so cute and colorful Nano-Chromatic.

They are simply kick-ass…the rainbows of all rainbows… Then I thought to myself…. wouldn’t these be a perfect wedding gift. One for the lady and one for the groom as to not start any fights! lol
They start at 149$ (US) hey… now turn that frown upside down… Christmas is soon. Put it on your list
I know I will.

{Good Thing} Paper Fans
I’ve always like the outdoors and garden weddings are to me, the most beautiful thing. I wanted to get married in a church so the outdoor wedding wasn’t an option for me, but if I were to do it again, a garden wedding would be my first choice. We all know that the outdoors has its cons. The sun can be an issue and we all know that heat can be quite intense. Thats why these easy to make Paper fans are greats favors to give to your guests. They can cool off and appreciate your wedding.

Flutter fans were common giveaways in bygone years. Bring them back with this favor. Choose a template and enlarge 250 percent. Trace and cut as directed. Glue one piece of decorative paper to one side of the pieces of card stock, using craft glue. (Spread the glue thinly with a scrap of card stock.) Once the glue has dried, punch a hole in each piece. Stack the pieces, and slip a paper fastener through to join them.
Paper Fan Templates
Photocopy these templates at 250 percent. For a wedge-shaped fan, trace template A twice onto both card stock and a decorative paper, then trace template B once each onto card stock and decorative paper with a different pattern. For a diamond-shaped fan, trace template C five times onto both card stock and papers. For a heart-shaped fan, trace template D three times onto both card stock and papers.

{Good Thing} Shower Gift Labels
You will be showered with gifts all your life, therefore this idea of Shower Gift Labels is perfect to remember who gave what and thank them properly. You can find inexpensive labels and even make your own. Simply be creative and label away.

Make Sending Thank-You Cards Easier
During the excitement of a shower, it can be hard to keep track of who gave what. Have a helper write the givers’ names on labels, and stick them on the box right after the bride has opened it.

{Good Thing} Personalizing Favors
Hey Everyone! I’m back. Finally after 7 days of being sick… I’m feeling much better. Not only is my voice back but the fever is gone. Hurray!!!
Thank you everyone for the support… Time to catch up…heres todays good thing.
The how-to to personalizing favors…

With a rubber stamp and some ribbon, simple boxes and tins become custom-made containers for favors like sugared almonds, petit fours, or a piece of groom’s cake. And much of the work can be done well in advance. To have a stamp made with initials or a date, provide a business-supply store or rubber-stamp company with a drawing, photocopy, or computer printout of the design.
Clockwise from top left: A candy-store box has a band of orange paper wrapped around it, taped on the bottom; pink rickrack is tied around the center, with a stamped initial on either side. Green tissue paper on the take-out box was cut with a wavy-edge rotary cutter (as was the white paper on the silver box below it). Another white candy box, this one bound with a rubber-stamped ribbon. A round metal tin has a ribbon around its middle, secured with a stationery-store sticker stamped with the couple’s initials. This matchbook doesn’t contain matches at all; inside the cover, which is stamped with a monogram, is a pad of paper. A cube-shaped box of clear plastic is filled with candies and bound with a bow; ribbon ends are stamped with an initial. The top of a smaller tin has a sticker with a monogram and date.

{Good Thing} Chic Chocolate Favors
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. I must say it was quite productive on my side… wedding favors are officially done
Hurray!!!
In honor of this great news – I thought I would suggest these beautiful Chic Chocolate favors from Martha. I absolutely adore this idea, because it yummy, pretty and inexpensive. All the right elements for a perfect favor. Though this was not what we chose to go with, it was definitely in my top 5.
Wrapped in pretty paper, store-bought chocolate bars make elegant gifts for guests. Slim bars look especially lovely (these are from Dean & Deluca). Choose patterned wrapping paper that coordinates with your wedding palette; cut to the same size as original wrapper (slip one off to use as a template). Carefully remove outer wrappers, leaving just the foil. Cover the candy bar with the wrapping paper, and secure with double-sided tape. Using a computer, print bride’s and groom’s names and wedding date onto card stock; cut into strips, and tape in place. (Papers by Neisha Crosland and Print Icon.)

{Good Thing} Marshmallow Favors
Especially this time of year, when we have ridiculous amounts of snow, a hot cocoa is the perfect drink to warm up. But what is a hot cocoa with the marshmallows. I mean its like having a Bride without a groom
I thought these cute Marshmallow Favors were perfect for the occasion.

These marshmallows are imported from Paris and, as you might suspect, they’re not your typical campfire fare. They are long (about 14 inches), pastel-hued, and quite pretty, especially when fashioned into love knots, time-honored symbols of commitment. Tie marshmallows into basic knots (to keep them from getting stale, don’t leave them exposed to the air for too long), and place in cellophane bags. Make tags, cutting them out with a scalloped craft punch or shears. Punch a tiny hole in each tag, thread ribbon through, and tie around bags.

{Good Things} Honeymoon Journal
For all of yous who will be going to a friends wedding, or if your simply preparing for your own this idea from Martha is such a neat way to add a little something special to your Honeymoon.
Why not give or make a Honeymoon Journal:

Images courtesy: marthastewart.com
This photo album is a great bon voyage gift for honeymooners. Start with a small album or scrapbook, and add “captions” — descriptions of moments the couple will want to capture — on the pages. They might say “Our first sunset” or “Our feet in the sand,” for example. Include an instant camera with the present (we used one that makes adhesive photos, but you can include an acid-free glue stick instead), so the newlyweds can fill in the album as they go.

Help guests find their seats by offering personalized luggage tags that make a functional keepsake. Print labels with lines for name, address, and phone number onto card stock (use the insert that comes with the tags as a template). Calligraph guests’ names. Slip tag and decorative paper backing into the plastic cover. Loop cording through hole at top, and hang on chairs.

Guilty pleasure
While filling out a secret Santa bio there was one question which I found quite amusing. What is your guilty pleasure? Well… I have to say tea. Its rare, well in my surroundings anyway, that a 24 years old chooses tea over coffee, but I heart tea and the cups as well. Oh how my grandmother would of been proud!
Here are some unique ways to tea your gifts for the holidays. These ideas can also be used for favors, or even bridal shower decor. Wanna tea?

Antique teacups that have lost their saucers still make sweet gifts when fitted with candles. For the how-to click here. Frozen Green Tea Souffles – Creme de menthe and powdered green tea flavor pillowy souffles, frozen and served in tiny porcelain dishes. For this yummy recipe click here. A Warm Welcome – Tea — presented with wonderful accessories or just a note — will be appreciated when the air is chilly. Give gifts to all out-of-town guests, or to special friends or relatives.

Gift giving
Gift giving is just around the corner and I personally love giving beautiful gifts. The wrapping can be as important as the gift itself… so I thought I would share some great wrapping ideas from our mother of crafts: Martha.

images courtesy of marthastewart.com
There is only one rule when wrapping a nice gift – be creative! There is no wrong way or wrong medium to use to envelop a gift. From leftover pieces of wrapping paper, to newspapers the possibilities are endless.

If you are more conscience about the environment why don’t you use beautiful pattern pieces of material. You can get some great deals, and the wrapping can be used afterwards for something else. Have fun!
