Hey Everyone!!!! Thank you so much for the kind words. It’s very sweet of you. So I’m officially married and I’m loving it. My wedding was absolutely beautiful and everything in my vintage glam theme was perfect. Now, I won’t be available all week so I apologize for the lack of posts, but I’m sure you’ll understand.
I didn’t want to leave you all hanging, so I just thought I would share one picture.. yup just one. Once I’m back from my mini moon I will post more. My sister took this picture. Isn’t it gorgeous?
I haven’t gotten my pro pics yet, but once I do, I will make a real inspiration board to compare to my original one. I should be back next week. Hope you all don’t mind.

Tomorrow is the day - yup the big day, the one I’ve been planning for, for the past year and a half.
I started Glamour This! because I truly had a passion for weddings. Planning my own, I wanted to help brides-to-be to find ideas and inspiration from my blog. Though to be honest planning a wedding and writing for 2 blogs wasn’t easy… I thank you for bearing with me throughout the adventure.
To be honest as months passed and the wedding was getting closer and closer then content of Glamour This! wasn’t what it was when I first started blogging about weddings. Once the wedding is over with (heck its in 1 day - ok but give me a couple of weeks) I will be back on track, promise
Thank you again for your support and even though I didnt write much about my own wedding and many of yous are thinking to yourselves “for real shes getting married?” I promise I will post pictures of my vintage glam wedding.

Thanks to my blog, I have met some pretty awesome people. I love how people send you feedback and tell you how much they appreciate your blog. I received an email last month from Allison of Calgary asking me if I would be interested in designing her logo and stationery for her new wedding focused company called Allison Vanwinkle Photography.
I love my job and designing something wedding related is like the cherry on top of the sundae. So without further a-do I am presenting you her new identity:

Happy Birthday to me. Yes yes its my birthday today 
This year is a double wammy: Not only am I the big 2-5, but its my last birthday as a single lady (Im getting married in less than one month) Even though Im not one that likes to highlight my birthday… my friends keep telling me its important even more so this year. Well whether or not I do something special… I got an early birthday gift this year, and let me say… that alone is worth doing nothing
In Montreal, we have a local TV channel called Canal Vie (basically it’s sort of like a French version of TLC) that has a wedding show called La Bosse des Noces (translation - The Wedding Boss), where a team of people help you with your wedding planning and problems you might come across along the way.
They’re always in search of couples to help, so I decided to send in our 12 page application at the end of February. It was clearly stated that if we passed the pre-selection, we would get contacted 2 months prior to the wedding. Since the 2 month mark passed and I never got any news, I forgot about it…. well I got a call last week and they wanted to meet us!
Apart from having parts of our wedding televised, whatever they decide to help you with, they offer as a gift to the couple. How awesome is that!!! Since they are behind on the whole process (we only have 1 month left to our wedding), they narrowed down the choice to 2 couples. Us and someone else.
Our audition was Wednesday and it went quite well. I mean, it couldnt have gone any better. Well lucky for us they called us the same day (after supper time) to tell us we were chosen. I am so excited you have no idea. Finally my search for 8mm film will end. They will figure out everything for me
Even though the show is in French, once it will air I will try to post it somehow. Could you believe my wedding on TV… what more can you ask for… seriously

Today is a special day… of course its mothers day, but I not only have one mom but two. I’ve been extra blessed over the years and I would like to tell them Happy Mothers Day and one big fat ” I love you”

Okay its a given, I’m a Martha freak. I mean I post about her good things twice a week, if that isn’t an indication of any sort I don’t know what is. When Martha launched her Martha Stewart Wedding Cake book, I knew I wanted it. Though it wasnt in my budget I knew, I would find a way to get a copy.
Indie Weddings was hosting a contest called: Cakewalk with the Indie Wedding Guide - Contest/Giveaway Martha Stewart Wedding Cakes Book. This giveaway was thanks to Emily from Eco-Chic Weddings. I was so excited that this book was up for grabs… and did what I had to do to enter. Guess what I WON!!! I’m not a person that wins contests. Don’t know if its karma or because I’m simply unlucky, but when I received the email I was so excited… you have no idea.
So when I get my book, I will post some images from the book itself. Personally I was always intrigued to know what was inside of this Martha book (cakes, I know) but the layout and if there are styles I havent seen in the past.
