Hola friends!!! Do you remember me? hehe, I know its been a while, but obviously some major projects in my life are keeping my hands away from the computer. I promise that it’s coming to an end really really soon.

It’s been a while since my MakeItPrettyVille features, and I had to share with you this awesome blog. Roxy is a good friend of mine and decided to start blogging about all her dating stories gone bad.. so when she asked me to design her blog à la Sex in the City… I couldn’t refuse. She decided to call her blog  Roxy’s Rendez-Vous. I think it definitely fits.

Operation Glamour This House! is in effect

Hi everyone… sorry for being MIA and actually falling behind on my posts and giveaway announcements. I haven’t forgotten about you its just that my hands are actually busy painting, moving, cleaning, unpacking and decorating. Yes, we finally got the keys to our house so Operation Glamour This House! is in full effect.

I am taking some before and after pics, and will share them with you once I have settled in. Its going to be soooo pretty, I can’t wait to give you the tour. Of course Operation Glamour This House! will be an ongoing thing… and might take months to actually complete, but I will share all the details with you.

Happy Tuesday everyone! So… I’m excited because today marks the 1 month mark to the launch of my MakeItPrettyVille project (aka Vegas Fund) Things have gone extremely well, and I should reach my goal in a couple of weeks… YAY!!! Thank you everyone for the support…. but got many more blogs to design.

Today MakeItPrettyVille Welcomes: e.louise, a blog dedicated to highlight all things pretty. From decor to fashion. This blog design belongs to the awesome Liz (aka Miss Beagle from weddingbee)

She wanted something that represented her… and since shes a fan of anything fabric, I thought it would be the perfect starting point to the design.

Happy Birthday Glamour This!

Happy Monday Everyone!!! Hope you had a great weekend. Mine consisted of some shopping and packing… yup, we are moving real real soon (3 weeks) and still got lots to do. Figure out the colors, buy some decor accessoires and lets not forget doing a major clean up and throw out (or give) practically everything I haven’t used in 5 years.

Anyway…enough of that… there are more important things. Like TODAY! TODAY marks Glamour This! 2 year anniversary. Yay!!! 2 years with my baby… and I only have great plans for my blog. Hoping we will have many more years to come.

Well, to be completely honest with you, I wanted to launch the new blog/website today on our 2 year anniversary, but we aren’t quite ready and I prefer launching a kick-ass site rather than a half-ass one LOL

We are getting there, tweeking and making it look Awesome, and I seriously can’t wait to show you. But just to be sure you don’t miss out… I would suggest you add our new URL to your bookmarks www.glamourthis.com (right now its fowarded to my current blog, but once the new site is up and running it will lead you to the NEW SITE! I am so excited that we have our own URL now.  Dunno what took me so long… hehe

In order to celebrate the new blog and website…  we have lots of giveaways in store for you… so stay tuned. And I will start today and post a giveaway later on to celebrate us turning 2!  So be sure to come back

I am not a photographer… but I did okay

A couple of months ago, I tweeted that my cousin had asked me to do both her makeup and be the official photog for her wedding. She was having a really small wedding and wasn’t paying for a photographer so she thought and thought that I would be a better candidate to take pics than say… uncle Bob.

Well the wedding was this weekend… and I was so freaken nervous (if you follow me on twitter you might of seen that ) I was putting so much pressure on myself, that I vowed never to accept to be a photographer again. Don’t get me wrong I loved my experience but dang… I don’t need to have the nervous craps. I seriously bow down to all your photographers out there…  (I have no clue how you do it! geez)

My cousin told me she just wanted say 40 good pics… Phew! I think were good. I took over 400…  Now, Im in the process of editing them. Thats the long part. Don’t worry I will share more with you when Im done.

Thought I’d share a sneek peek with you… So what do you think? I’m not a photographer… but I did okay? right? anyways I think so.

Right now I am enjoying the sunny beach in Florida and when I get back lots of new stuffs coming up.

Glamour This! has some news…

This month has been a crazy one so far…. working on the new blog/website, weddings & birthdays left and right. The most important event yet, is the news I will share with all of yous. I got the news the week of my birthday so talk about a great birthday gift. We had put an offer on the house and we got the house…. so we are official home owners… Yipee!!!

We are moving in September 10th and thats when our life officially begins (even if we’ve been married almost a year) a house makes it so much more official. Here are some pictures taken by the realtor for listing purposes.

We love the openness of the main floor, its a huge reason why we purchased the place. Not only is it fun when you are hosting parties… but there are lots of windows and so much natural light comes in the house… even the basement. Now, that is a plus when buying a house ( no need to pay expensive electricity bills )

The current owners did a great job decorating, even though I would change a couple of things, so I really hope when it will be our turn to re-decorate we will do an even better job. If thats even possible

I can’t wait to start decorating, do landscaping and making this house our own. It needs some exterior TLC but thats the reason I wanted a house to begin with. I’m gonna start an moodboard of decor magazine clippings. For you home owners, what advice would you give me for preparing myself for the big move?

Blush!nk: Invitation Design

Now you all read the announcement that I will be launching my own design company and I’ve shown you the new logo of  Blush!nk. I am quite excited about this project and even though I haven’t had the time to really work on the new website, I did have the chance to design a beautiful wedding invitation.

I heart designing stationery (its my favorite) and it is something I will offer once the site is launched. Since you have followed me throughout the whole blogging experience, I thought it was fair to share this new design…

I present you Jennifer & Gianfranco’s wedding trousseau…

Jennifer & Gianfranco are having a May spring wedding and opted for the glamour approach to it (exactly how I like it ) They are having a mixture of lush flowers; peonies, anemones in pink tones and black for that pop of glam. Rhinestones, ribbons, flowers are in the mix and this wedding with be glam fab!!!

They used pink pocket folds and sealed it with a beautiful black candle wax seal. They also matched the trousseau with black linen envelopes for that extra classy look. Honestly, these invites were seriously stunning….don’t you find? (and I’m not saying that cuz I designed them… )

Congratulations to the both of yous! Wishing you all the best and a happy new life together!
