I’ve blogged about my love for Gavin Degraw songs before. His voice, music and lyrics are so nice, no wonder his music is featured in many hit tv shows.

Happy friday everyone! Today is a good day, its officially my last day of work and I am on VACATION!!! Hurray. I don’t have anything planned really… and should be around to blog for all of yous. Maybe you can help me out giving me suggestions on what you would like me to write about.

Ever since the release of her latest album Back to Basics, I’ve been listening to Christina Aguileras latest work of art on repeat. Every song is catchy and not to mention meaningful. Not only is she what Glamour is all about but the vintage feel of her cd is what makes it even more original.

Her song The Right Man is such a beautiful song. Though it emphasizes the lack of her father in her life, I still think it can be a touchy wedding song.  I invite you to listen to it and judge for yourself.

There is a big debate over disposable cameras at weddings and trying to think eco-friendly, I though I would suggest some ideas to have the advantage of getting your hands on candid shots taken by your guests.

There are endless amounts of free photo sharing sites where your guests could upload pics freely. This is a great way to have a complete collection of pictures. All you have to do is create an account and share with your guest the account info and instructions on how to upload pictures.

I heart the movie Juno. Not only is it a refreshing movie, but is very different than all the Hollywood Flicks… if you haven’t seen it, I suggest you run to your movie rental store and get yourself a copy. For those who know this movie, I am certain you love the opening song.

This weeks love song is from a local artist called Gregory Charles. He is a very talented singer, composer and writer and just with his song Til the day I die, you can really see just what I mean. The music and lyrics are movie-esque and not to mention beautiful.

I’ve been wanted to post this song for sometime now, but it hasn’t made its way to youtube until now. Though it not the video of the song, but rather a personal wedding montage, I invite to listen to this perfect first dance song.

Thanks to my blog, I have met some pretty awesome people. I love how people send you feedback and tell you how much they appreciate your blog. Today’s love song is from the movie V is for Vendetta. Though its quite unique, it wouldn’t be good for a first dance, but think about putting it in your wedding video or for a photo slide show. I truly love Cat Powers voice and I found a reason is one of my favorite songs from her.

For those of you who know Cat Power, whats your favorite song from her?

There has been much debate about this and I would like to have your opinion on this issue. When a bride hires a photographer she hires his talent basically. What happens if you fall in love with a photographer but your budget doesn’t allow it. You tend to opt for the more inexpensive photographer, which is still talented but not your first pick… so in order to compensate, do you provide imagery of what you would like? Do you even provide a list of shots you would like?

This is a touchy subject because you do not want to offend your photographer in any way, but at the same time you are paying a fee and you only get married once and those specific shots are important… and its understandable that you don’t want to miss them. I personally think if you go about it in a relaxed kind of manner saying “I like images in this style” rather than pin-point every single pose you would like, its bound to pass better.

I think a list could be a great idea… but I wouldn’t go over board either. You still need to leave space for the photographer and his idea of things. Brides.com has a list which is quite complete, I would most defintely narrow certain things down, but overall it could be a great starting point.

One of the first song I’ve heard by Jason Mraz was a love song. So different then what I had heard it the past, it was certain that this was my new favorite artist. I thought I would share with you two of his fun love songs. Both unique in their own way, if you want to be different, then this my friends… is the way to go.
