Being the vintage fan that I am, I could not, not post about this awesome wedding. Don’t ask me how I came about in finding this photographer, but Yvonne Lishman does some awesome photography and this wedding is completely breathtaking.

I call it Vintage peacock… I absolutely love the color of the brides dress a shimmering turquoise and mint green accent so unique. Can you look at that hat! Its simply stunning and works so well with the rest of her assemble.
I also love her flower choice; Beautiful long stem peachy calla lillies with Ivory roses (from what I can see) The bouquet evokes that vintage feel and it really brings out the color in her dress.

As for the groom… isn’t he so adorable? And that top hat… Its like the hats have a love story of their own… I heart it. Though there isn’t much more on this wedding I can only imagine all the little details.
I love that through the picture and their wedding style, we have an idea of what type of couple they are. Fun loving and daring… Congratulations to the both of yous.
Yvonne Lishman is located in Nottingham and provides photography throughout the East Midlands (England). Visit her website for pricing… but more importantly check out her beautiful work.

Today’s post will feature Andrea and Nathan’s wedding inspiration. Andrea was kind enough to send me a massive email will all the details leading to her April 4th wedding in Atlanta. So why not share it with all the readers. You will see… its amazing Eye Candy!
The save the dates were designed by a friend of the couple. I love the vintage font and not to mention the embellishment. Originally Andrea wanted to use a Chandelier embelishment on the save the dates, but soon realized that it would be best to have different elements and kept the Chandelier for the invitation.
Andrea mentioned in her email that her inspiration board was nothing close to what Kathryn from Snippet & Ink. I think she did a fabulous job and I’m loving ever piece of it. The style is both glamorous and chic with elements that are sort of vintage. Perfect combo.
Here is a montage of real photos and elements of their upcoming wedding. Beautiful engagement pictures (which by the way I absolutely adore) A chandelier invitation designed by a friend with matching thank you tags from maxandbella’s shop. Custom stamps and soda labels for that extra touch. I’m a matchy match person, so I like the fact that everything works so well together.
I can’t wait to see pictures of the actual wedding. Its bound to be something spectacular. Congratulations to the both of you…

Its time again to feature all you fabulous brides-to-be. The response has been great… I’ve received various emails of readers interested to be featured on The Readers Guide. Thank you everyone!
First off we have the sweet Kate. She is sharing with us her fabulous save-the-dates cards. I love the fact that she didn’t go the traditional route of save the date cards having the classic map or magnet. Way-to-go Kate!
Using illustrator she designed a black vine motif. So elegant and bold at the same time, this motif will most probably be an important element throughout the wedding. For the printing she opted for a letterpress style and printed them at cranky pressman. She just didn’t stop there… she also hand silk screened all the kraft paper envelopes in the wedding’s signature green color.
To tie the whole look together she designed a website with the same feel and look. A perfect kit and the invitation suite will follow suit as well! Can’t wait to see more!!!
Next up we have Tiffany and her save-the-dates. I love the twist to the whole magnet idea of STDs. Awesome job! They put their own twist to the standard photo magnet.
What was important was to have something that was more representative of them. Tiffany’s fiance did all the graphic design, so with his ideas and her input, this is what they came up with!
Thank you for sharing your design! Just by the look of the save-the-dates I can see you will have a beautiful wedding. Can’t wait to see more. Best of luck to the both of yous!
